The Timm's Hill Trail is groomed for both classic and skate skiing.  It's groomed at minimum weekly and after each snowfall as necessary to ensure a quality skiing experience.

From the south end, the first 3 miles of the trail start out fairly flat and are great for beginners and families.  The next 7 miles get progressively hillier and offer more of a challenge for the intermediate to advanced skiers.

The Timm's Hill Trail connects the Forest Springs Trails and Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Trails to the High Point Ski Trails, creating over 70km of connected trails, offering some of the finest cross-country skiing in the mid-west.

Snowshoeing, skijoring, and well behaved pets are welcome on the Timm's Hill Trail,

the Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Trails, and the High Point Ski Trails.

Poor

The temps have warmed up and we received a little rain last night.

The snow has been thin from the start, and now there's even less.

Temps are forecast to be in the upper 30's and low 40's for the next week.

I would recommend NOT skiing.  Snowshoeing and walking are Ok - might be slushy and/or muddy.

Fair

After a warm & dry December, we finally have some cold temps & snow.  The THT is groomed and tracks set.

There are some dirty spots with leaves & sticks poking thru.

From Rustic Road #1 north to Ritchie Lake, they recently "mow" the brush, so the trail is litter with branches.

I was able to weave around the branches so it's ski-able - just not real pretty!
