The Timm's Hill Trail is groomed for both classic and skate skiing. It's groomed at minimum weekly and after each snowfall as necessary to ensure a quality skiing experience.
From the south end, the first 3 miles of the trail start out fairly flat and are great for beginners and families. The next 7 miles get progressively hillier and offer more of a challenge for the intermediate to advanced skiers.
The Timm's Hill Trail connects the Forest Springs Trails and Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Trails to the High Point Ski Trails, creating over 70km of connected trails, offering some of the finest cross-country skiing in the mid-west.
Snowshoeing, skijoring, and well behaved pets are welcome on the Timm's Hill Trail,
the Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Trails, and the High Point Ski Trails.

There is logging planned along the THT in Taylor County, but I don't know exactly when. I don't know if or when that section will be groomed.
The THT is groomed & tracks set from the Taylor / Price County Line (Mile 2) north to the Timm's Hill County Park (Mile 10).
The High Point Ski Trails are also groomed & tracks set.

We received 3" of snow Friday thru Sunday. I'm NOT planning on grooming this week. It's going to be a COLD week. Highs between -13ºF and 5ºF.

We had temperatures in the upper 30's again Monday & Tuesday and the snow has turned to mush. It's going to refreeze Tuesday night & Wednesday. The forecast predicts 1-3" of snow Friday, so maybe by the weekend it will be skiable.

We had temperatures in the upper 30's & rain last week. It has now refrozen and we received 1" of snow. I groomed a little around my house but it made a mess, so I didn't groom the THT.
I skied today and it's pretty good. Fast on the down hills and icy under the Hemlock & Pine Trees.
The tracks from last week are still there but melted down & refrozen.

We received 8" of wet heavy snow Monday. We are in the process of cleaning up branches & trees and packing the THT. It will be a few days before it's groomed.

The THT is groomed from the Taylor / Price County Line (Mile 2) to just north of Blomberg Bridge (Mile 5).
Mile 5 north to the Timm's Hill County Park (Mile 10) and the High Point Ski Trails should be groomed soon.
