It's large, powerful claws allow the eagle to easily perch on tree branches, and efficiently snatch a fish off the surface of a lake.

The sharp, hooked beak allows the eagle to quickly devour it's prey.

Note the silver band around the right leg.  This eagle has been banded to track it's location.
